Our Story
Tacos El Gallazo was born from a simple conviction: that the best tacos are the ones made with patience, love, and ingredients you can trust. What started as weekend gatherings in a family kitchen has grown into a cornerstone of the Los Angeles food scene.
Every tortilla is hand-pounded from nixtamalized corn. Every salsa is roasted to order. Every cut of meat is chosen for flavor, never for speed. We don't cut corners — we honor the craft.

Slow-braised beef in a rich chile adobo broth, melted cheese, and a golden consommé for dipping. Served on fresh corn tortillas.
Charcoal-grilled steak, finely diced onion, and a hand-chopped cilantro salsa. The quintessential taco, done right.
Marinated pork roasted on the trompo, finished with a slice of charred pineapple, onion, and cilantro.
